Manufacturing of Laminating

  • Prepare the workspace

    Make sure your workspace is clean and well-ventilated, you will also need to have all the necessary materials and tools within reach.

  • Cut the carbon fiber

    Use a pair of sharp scissors or a razor blade to cut the carbon fiber material to the desired size and shape

  • Mix the epoxy resin and hardener

    Follow the instructions on the packaging of the epoxy resin and hardener to mix them together

  • Apply the epoxy resin and hardener

    Use a brush to apply the epoxy resin and hardener onto the carbon fiber material. Make sure the resin is evenly distributed

  • Lay the carbon fiber

    Once the resin has been applied, it's time to laminate the carbon fiber. Lay the carbon fiber onto your mold or desired surface, making sure to position it carefully and avoid any wrinkles

  • Apply more epoxy resin and hardener

    Apply a second layer of epoxy resin and hardener over the carbon fiber. This will help to further bond the fibers together

  • Allow the material to cure

    Wait for the epoxy resin and hardener to cure. This may take several hours or even overnight

  • Trim and finish

    Once the material has cured, you can trim and finish it as desired.


Vacuum InfusionEpoxy Resin

Vacuum infusion is a process used in manufacturing to create high-quality composite materials. It involves using a vacuum pump to remove air from a resin and fiberglass cloth or carbon fiber weave, allowing the resin to penetrate each fiber and bond them together for maximum strength and durability.

This process involves laying out the carbon fiber in a mold, sealing it with a permeable fabric, and placing it inside a bag. A vacuum pump is then used to draw out the air, allowing the resin and hardener to flow into the mold. Finally, the mold is cured under controlled conditions to create a strong, durable finished product. This precise and efficient process creates high-quality composite materials with excellent strength-to-weight ratios.
